LG (LDC22720ST) Bottom-Freezer Stainless Steel Refrigerator (22.4 cu.ft.)

While shopping for a new refrigerator I had several options to choose from, including the color, style, and size. I knew I wanted a silver colored refrigerator since most of the other appliances in my kitchen were silver; stove, dishwasher. I read reviews, visited several stores and eventually I came upon this LG 22.4 cubic foot bottom freezer refrigerator.

After shopping for a few days and talking with my husband about the types and styles of refrigerators, we knew we wanted a bottom freezer type. This LG refrigerator was a perfect fit for my kitchen. Although it was a little expensive it had many of the specifications I wanted.

With the freezer on the bottom, I will have better access to the refrigerator, instead of having to bend down to see in.

The freezer is a pull-out, this makes storage a bit more difficult, since items will have to be stacked on top of one another, but it is bigger compared to my old freezer. Once we got the refrigerator installed and plugged in, it cooled down quite fast.

With about thirty minutes my refrigerator was cooled and it took about an hour or so to cool the freezer down to the set temperature. While setting the thermostat on the refrigerator, I noticed it was digital, not a knob style. This made the refrigerator set to a specific temperature, not just a guesstimate.

Probably the best thing I found was the number of drawers, both in the main part of the refrigerator as well as in the doors.

Storage is easy now, though a few of the drawers are small. I love this new refrigerator and although it was a bit expensive, I think it will be worth the cost in the long run.

Pros
– Great Storage Capacity
– Style flowed well with my kitchen design

Cons
– It was a little pricey, but worth it
– Storage drawers are smaller than anticipated.
