Maytag 737L Side-by Side Dispensing Refrigerator

I have a Maytag refrigerator and it has not really disappointed me in any major way. It has many controls to maintain freshness for fruits and vegetables by allowing me to control temperatures in certain compartments.

It has an adaptive defrost setting so that it only defrosts when needed, allowing it to protect my food from freezer burn. It’s useful because I cook a lot of meals with raw meats and usually have leftovers that I want to keep cool, so it keeps all these foods fresh and lasting longer.

It has a water and ice dispenser which is so useful because I don’t like tap water, and I enjoy the water filter built into the fridge. Whenever I want cool, clean drinking water, iced or not, my fridge provides it.

Another thing I love about the fridge is it’s glass shelving units. I can change the height of the shelves, moving them lower or higher, depending on how much space I want for certain foods.

For tall groceries like juice and milk, this has always been helpful. The freezer is spacious too, with wire baskets that keep more of the food frozen completely, instead of everything being frozen unevenly. It has a stainless steel exterior that I think gives the whole kitchen a modern look. I was tired of having fridges that were plain white and box-like.

This new fridge is very sleek-looking and easy to clean and keep clean. It’s designed to use less energy when it’s just sitting and not being opened or used frequently, kind of like a dormant appliance. Also, the storage is great, and I have a lot of space in the freezer and the fridge. I rarely run out of room.

It is not a cheap fridge, and I did have to pay a lot for quality. Also, the water purifier for the dispenser has to be changed every six months in order to stay clean, which is kind of a hassle.
