This model has the advantage of sixth-sense technology – with a fast cool facility which drops the temperature for a period of 24 hours, to increase the ice production by up to about 20%. The facility to remove the blue ice bin has become very popular – particularly in those hot summer evenings when lashings of ice are required.
The special full width adjustable, slide-out SpilGuard shelves have become a very popular addition to this refrigerator. The shelves are fully adjustable and very convenient when storing a range of foods and drinks. The see-through design help to keep everything in view and prevent the problem of overlooking some items.
This model contains three separate clear-view bins including a clear temperature-controlled meat pan. The advantage here is that the freshness of the meat is preserved for longer, by allowing cool air for the freezer to enter the meat pan at whatever level you select. This humidity-controlled crisper similarly preserves the fresh crispness of fresh fruits and salad stuff.
There have been a number of problems with the ice-making facility which has been identified as having a tendency to failure and is fairly costly to replace.
The freezer is quite difficult to clear.
